Treasure Island patients choose Pier Dental, at 8351 Blind Pass Rd, for general dentistry with a personal touch. Dr. Brittany Pierpont sees teens and adults and handles exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns and root canals herself.
Whether your last visit was last year or a decade ago, the welcome is the same. Our job is to find out what is going on and give you honest options, not to make you feel guilty.
Comprehensive exams, explained as we go

Dr. Pierpont checks your teeth, gums, jaw joints, bite and soft tissue, and screens for oral cancer. Digital X-rays let her show you what lies below the surface.
You will know what she found before you leave, along with the order in which to tackle it.

Professional cleanings

Cleanings remove tartar, polish teeth and help keep gums healthy. They also catch early changes that are easier to treat now than later.
Every six months is typical. We will tell you if you should come in more often.

Root canals that relieve pain

The word scares people, but a root canal clears out an infected nerve and ends the pain. Dr. Pierpont does them in the office and talks you through each step.
A crown usually follows to protect the tooth.

About Treasure Island
Treasure Island is a city on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico, with Boca Ciega Bay on its other side. Much of its land was extended with dredged fill after World War II, which is part of why the shoreline looks the way it does.
Our office is about 1.7 miles from the center of the city in a straight line. We also see patients from Sunset Beach, Madeira Beach, St. Pete Beach and Gulfport.
Schedule your visit at (727) 363-6169. We can go over payment, including CareCredit and our in-house savings plan, when you call.
