Veneers can lift the look of your front teeth, but only if they are planned with care. Dr. Pierpont studies your smile from every angle and designs veneers that look believable.
When Oakhurst Shores patients ask about veneers, the first question we ask is what you want to change. The answer sets the entire plan.
Veneers compared with bonding

Bonding rebuilds a tooth with resin in a visit, while veneers cover the whole front surface with a custom shell. Veneers are better for stains that do not lift and for several teeth at once.
If bonding does the job, we will say so and save you the extra step.

Steps from consultation to final fit

We start with your goals and an exam, then lightly shape the teeth and take impressions. A lab makes the veneers, and we bond them after checking shade and fit.
Each stage is explained ahead of time, and you can ask to pause at any point.

Looking after veneers

Veneers hold up well with brushing, flossing and regular cleanings. Chewing on ice, pens or fingernails is the usual cause of trouble.
If you grind your teeth at night, mention it, because a guard may help protect your investment.
