Cosmetic dentistry at Pier Dental is about improving how your smile looks while keeping it strong. Dr. Brittany Pierpont focuses on changes that blend in: a brighter shade, a repaired chip, a gap closed, an old filling replaced with one that matches. The goal is a smile that looks like yours on a very good day.
Cosmetic work often overlaps with restorative care, so you get both views in one conversation. We look at how a treatment will look and how it will hold up over the years. If something is better done another way, or not at all, we will tell you.
Take-home teeth whitening

Whitening at Pier Dental is done at home, on your schedule. We offer three professional options: custom-molded trays with professional gel, an at-home LED whitening kit, and professional-strength whitening strips. All are stronger than what the drugstore sells, and we first check that your teeth and gums are suitable.
Whitening works well on stains from coffee, tea, wine and tobacco. Custom trays give the most even, controlled results, while strips are a simpler choice if you prefer to skip trays. Gradual home whitening also tends to be gentle on sensitive teeth.

Dental bonding for chips, gaps and stains

Bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin that is shaped on the tooth, hardened with a curing light and polished to blend in. It can repair minor chips and cracks, close small gaps and cover discoloration, usually in a single visit.
Because little or no tooth structure has to be removed, bonding is a minimally invasive option, and it is often a more affordable alternative to veneers. Bonded teeth can stain over time, so we will share simple habits that keep them looking fresh.

White fillings that disappear into your smile

Tooth-colored composite fillings repair cavities and match the surrounding enamel closely, so they are nearly invisible. They suit front and back teeth, and they are a metal-free choice for patients who prefer one.
If you have older fillings you are self-conscious about, ask Dr. Pierpont whether a new white filling, an onlay or a crown would be the most sensible replacement. For bigger changes, she also places veneers and crowns.

About St. Pete Beach
St. Pete Beach is known as a tourist destination, and its downtown is centered on Corey Avenue, where you will find restaurants, bars, shopping and retail outlets. A night out, a photo or a visit from friends is often what makes people notice their smile and finally ask about it.
Pier Dental is at 8351 Blind Pass Rd. We see cosmetic patients from St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach and nearby Gulf-side communities, and we are happy to plan treatment around an event if timing matters.
Curious what is possible for your smile? Call (727) 363-6169 and tell us what you would like to change. We will talk through options, timing and payment choices, including CareCredit and our in-house savings plan.
