Dentist visits are easy to put off when life is lived at beach speed, and many people in Indian Rocks Beach tell us it has been years. Dr. Brittany Pierpont sees adults and teens for general dentistry at 8351 Blind Pass Rd, and she does not lecture anyone about the gap.
Our office sits south of you along the Gulf beaches, near Madeira Beach. We are a family-owned practice, so you meet the same dentist each visit rather than a rotating cast. Call, tell us what is bothering you, and we will find a time.
An exam that begins with listening

Your first appointment starts with a conversation about what you have noticed, then moves to a thorough look at teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues. Digital X-rays show what a mirror cannot, and we review each image with you on the screen.
If you would rather skip the jargon, say so. Dr. Pierpont points out what is healthy, what needs watching and what needs treatment, and you decide the pace from there.

Cleanings between sandy summers

A professional cleaning removes the plaque and tartar that a home routine leaves behind, and polishing lifts everyday stains from coffee and iced tea. Most people do well with a visit about every six months, though some need them closer together.
Gums that bleed or feel tender deserve attention before they turn into something bigger. We check for it at each visit and show you simple home steps to keep things calm.

Fillings that look like your own teeth

A cavity caught early can usually be restored with a tooth-colored composite filling placed in a single appointment. We numb the area, clean out the decay and shape the material so your bite feels natural.
When decay has gone deeper, Dr. Pierpont explains whether an inlay, onlay or crown is the sturdier fix. You hear the options and the reasons before anything is done.

About Indian Rocks Beach
Indian Rocks Beach sits on Sand Key, a barrier island between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway, with Indian Shores to the south and Belleair Shore and Belleair Beach to the north.
From the shoreline here to our door on Blind Pass Rd is roughly 11 miles in a straight line, and many of our beach-town patients make that trip down the coast once or twice a year.
Ready to stop putting it off? Call (727) 363-6169 to book. Our doors open Monday from 9 to 3, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 5, and Wednesday from 9 to 4. Fridays are by appointment. Ask about CareCredit and our in-house savings plan.
