If you live around Oakhurst Acres in the Seminole area, you have plenty of dental offices to pick from. What Pier Dental adds is a small, family-owned setting where Dr. Brittany Pierpont knows each patient by name. We are at 8351 Blind Pass Rd in St. Pete Beach.
Our point for Oakhurst Acres is only approximate, but it falls about 6.9 miles from us in a straight line. The drive is longer than that, so we are happy to talk by phone before your first trip.
A thorough look at the whole mouth

Dr. Pierpont checks teeth, gums, jaw joints and soft tissue, and she includes an oral cancer screening. Digital X-rays fill in what she cannot see directly.
You see the pictures too. We point out what looks healthy and what deserves watching.

Regular cleanings, kept comfortable

Hardened tartar cannot be brushed off, which is why scheduled cleanings matter. We scale it away and polish the surfaces.
If it has been a long gap since your last cleaning, say so. We just start where you are.

When a root canal is the kind choice

A tooth with a deep infection or pain on biting may need root canal treatment. The aim is to keep your own tooth instead of removing it.
Dr. Pierpont does the treatment herself and usually follows with a crown to protect the tooth.
