Cosmetic work at Pier Dental is built around restraint. Dr. Brittany Pierpont would rather brighten a shade, smooth a chipped edge or swap a dark filling than change the character of your smile.
Visitors flock to Indian Rocks Beach for sun and water, and those who live there know how much time outdoors, coffee and wine can do to teeth. Patients come to us from the beach communities for a refresh that still looks like them.
Whitening you do at home

We provide take-home whitening in three forms: custom-molded trays with professional gel, an at-home LED kit and professional-strength strips. Dr. Pierpont checks your teeth and gums first so the method suits you.
Trays tend to give the most even shade, and strips are handy if you travel. Results build over days, which keeps sensitivity milder for many people.

Bonding for small flaws

A chip on a front tooth or a tiny gap can often be reshaped with composite resin in one visit. The material is matched to your enamel, hardened with a light and polished until the edge disappears.
It usually asks very little of the tooth, which makes bonding a gentle first step before anything more involved is on the table.

Replacing old metal-look fillings

Older silver-colored fillings can darken a smile from the inside. A white composite filling restores the tooth and blends with the enamel around it.
If the tooth has weakened, Dr. Pierpont may suggest an onlay for added strength. She walks you through the trade-offs plainly.
