Pain or a broken tooth on Treasure Island can spoil a whole trip or a regular day. Sunshine Beach patients can call Pier Dental for a same-day visit, often on the day they call.
We listen, find the problem and tell you what comes next.
Knocked-out tooth

Pick the tooth up by the crown, not the root, and rinse it lightly. Place it in milk or a preservation solution and call us right away.
The sooner we see it, the better the odds.

Swelling and possible abscess

A pimple-like bump, bad taste or facial swelling can signal an abscess. Fever or trouble swallowing means you should seek care immediately.
Treatment can include drainage, a root canal or an extraction.

Broken tooth while eating

It can happen on something as soft as bread, if the tooth was already weak. We check how deep the break goes and decide how to repair it.
Crowns are common for larger breaks.
