Memphis, Florida has roots going back to the 1880s, and Pier Dental is a much newer neighbor across Tampa Bay. We are a family-owned general dentistry office at 8351 Blind Pass Rd in St. Pete Beach. Dr. Brittany Pierpont sees teens and adults, and she welcomes people who dread the dentist.
Our office is about 19 miles from Memphis in a straight line, and the road is longer. If you decide to make the trip, we want it to feel worthwhile from the first phone call.
Honest about the last visit

Many people come to us after years away and expect a scolding. You will not get one. We examine your teeth and gums, take digital X-rays and explain what we find in plain language.
Then we help you rank what to do first. Urgent problems come before cosmetic ones.

Fillings with a natural look

Decay is removed and the tooth is rebuilt with white composite. The shade is matched to your tooth so it blends in.
We numb the area first and keep you updated. If the damage is larger than a filling, we say so before we start.

Cleanings for tartar and stains

A professional cleaning clears hardened tartar and polishes away surface stains. It also gives us a chance to check your gums.
Come every six months if your mouth does well, and more often if it needs extra help.

About Memphis
Land owned by Robert Willis was sold to I. E. Barwick, who subdivided it. An 1897 Manatee County directory lists a clothing store, a crate mill and a bakery.
Today the community is a long way from our Gulf-side office, so we try to bundle your exam, X-rays and cleaning. Call ahead and tell us which days work best.
Call Pier Dental at (727) 363-6169 and ask for a new-patient visit. Our schedule is Monday 9 to 3, Tuesday 9 to 5, Wednesday 9 to 4 and Thursday 9 to 5. Friday visits are by appointment. Ask about CareCredit and our in-house plan.
