About Sun City
Sun City was founded in 1925 as ‘Florida’s Moving Picture City’, a land-boom scheme with streets named after film stars like Charlie Chaplin. The studio flopped, but the name remained, and it should not be mixed up with nearby Sun City Center.
Our office is about 17.5 miles from Sun City in a straight line. U.S. Route 41 runs through your community, though the road to St. Pete Beach is longer than the straight-line figure.
