A crown is a custom cap that restores a damaged tooth’s shape, strength and appearance. Dr. Brittany Pierpont makes them for patients throughout Manatee County.
Because there are two visits, we set both dates together and explain the temporary crown in advance.
What happens at each visit

At the first visit the tooth is numbed and shaped, then our TRIOS scanner takes a digital impression. At the second, the permanent crown is bonded and your bite adjusted.
You walk out with a finished tooth.

Saving a tooth after a root canal

Treated teeth are brittle, and a crown shields them. Dr. Pierpont performs both procedures in the office.
That means fewer handoffs.

Smaller fixes when they will do

Inlays and onlays repair part of a tooth while saving more of it. They are made of porcelain or composite.
We recommend the least invasive option.
