The best cosmetic work is the kind nobody can pin down. They just think you look refreshed. Dr. Brittany Pierpont plans for that effect, using color-matched materials and careful shaping.
If a stained tooth, an old dark filling or a chip is bothering you, we can start there. Bay Pines patients are welcome to bring photos of a smile they like.
Brighter teeth with take-home whitening

Pier Dental offers whitening for use at home, in custom trays, with an LED kit or with strips. Each uses professional-grade gel and works at the pace you choose.
Results vary by stain, so we check your teeth first. Whitening helps with coffee, tea and wine, though it cannot reverse discoloration from age.

Bonding to smooth and reshape

Bonding resin is applied in layers, shaped by hand and hardened with a light. It rebuilds a chipped corner or evens out a tooth that looks a little short.
Since it needs little or no drilling, many patients like bonding as a first step before considering anything bigger.

Swapping out old fillings for white ones

Metal fillings can darken the look of a tooth. A white composite filling blends right in and bonds to the tooth for a snug seal.
We assess each filling first. Sometimes a larger piece of decay calls for an onlay or a crown, and we will say so.
