If you live near Gandy, you probably know the drive toward the water. Our office at 8351 Blind Pass Rd is on the other side of St. Petersburg, near the Gulf, and Dr. Brittany Pierpont welcomes patients who want a quiet, personal practice.
You do not need to apologize for a missed checkup or two. We begin with a look, a conversation and a plan that fits your schedule.
Cleanings and gum checks

Regular cleanings clear away tartar and polish off surface stains, and every visit includes a look at your gums. Bleeding or swelling is worth mentioning early.
If gum disease is present, Dr. Pierpont treats it and shows you how to keep it under control at home.

X-rays and a full exam

Digital X-rays reveal cavities between teeth, bone levels and trouble below the gumline. Dr. Pierpont reviews them with you right away.
Most patients benefit from a comprehensive exam about once a year, more often when there is a history of problems.

Repairing a worn tooth

If a tooth has decay or an old filling is failing, Dr. Pierpont may rebuild it with composite or an inlay or onlay. She picks the smallest repair that will hold.

About Gandy
The name Gandy is best known from the Gandy Bridge, which carries traffic across Old Tampa Bay between St. Petersburg and Tampa and is almost three miles long.
From that Tampa Bay shoreline to our office is roughly 11 miles in a straight line, and some patients appreciate the change of scene on the Gulf side.
