A comprehensive exam covers teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints and soft tissues, along with an oral cancer screening. Digital X-rays fill in what cannot be seen by eye.
Dr. Pierpont then sorts findings into urgent, soon and fine for now, so you can plan around work and budget.

Filling a cavity the modern way
White fillings are made of composite resin that bonds to the tooth and matches its color. They allow us to conserve more of the natural tooth than old metal fillings did.
We numb the area, remove decay and finish with a polish. If a tooth needs more support, we explain the next step first.

Staying ahead of gum trouble
Gums often warn you before teeth do, with bleeding, puffiness or a bad taste. Regular cleanings keep tartar from building up where brushing cannot reach.
Dr. Pierpont shows you what she sees at the gumline and treats gum disease when it is present.

Largo is centrally located in Pinellas County, touching the Intracoastal Waterway to the southwest and Tampa Bay to the northeast, with Seminole lying south of its western side.
Because the city is roughly 11 miles from our office in a straight line, we see Largo patients who prefer a family-owned practice and do not mind a short trip toward the Gulf.
