A veneer is a thin shell fastened to the front of a tooth. Dr. Brittany Pierpont uses them to cover stains, chips, wear and uneven edges for patients visiting Pier Dental from Belleair Bluffs.
The first appointment is a talk, not a commitment. We cover how much enamel is involved, what lasts and whether a simpler fix would do.
What the visits look like

A consult comes first, then light tooth preparation and a digital scan or impression. Once your veneers return from the lab, they are bonded in place.
We check shade and bite together before you head home.

When bonding is enough

If only one or two teeth bother you, composite bonding can be quicker and less costly. It also removes less of the tooth.
We will tell you honestly which route fits the problem.

When a crown is wiser

A tooth that is cracked, weak or heavily filled may need full coverage instead of a front shell.
Dr. Pierpont will explain why, and show you on the scan.

About Belleair Bluffs
Belleair Bluffs is a small city, about 0.6 square miles in all, and it was incorporated on March 4, 1963. With so little room, even a short trip feels like a big outing, so we plan visits to cut down on repeats.
Pier Dental sits at 8351 Blind Pass Rd in St. Pete Beach. Veneer patients also come in from Belleair, Belleair Beach and Madeira Beach.
