You may already have a dentist closer to home. Pier Dental is farther away, in St. Pete Beach, 22.1 miles by straight line and more by road. People make that trip when they want Dr. Brittany Pierpont’s unhurried, judgment-free approach.
She treats adults with general dentistry: checkups, cleanings, fillings, root canals and crowns. We also give free second opinions if you want another view of a plan you have already been given.
A second opinion, no strings

Bring your X-rays or treatment plan, and Dr. Pierpont will give an honest read. There is no charge for the second opinion.
You decide where to go next, and we will not pressure you.

Root canals explained simply

A root canal removes infected tissue from inside a tooth so you can keep it. The tooth is then sealed.
Dr. Pierpont walks you through the steps beforehand, and many patients are surprised by how manageable it is.

About Cedar Hammock
Cedar Hammock was once a hardwood hammock of about 6,000 acres, and truck farmers grew onions, cabbage and potatoes there. A drain dug to Ware’s Creek in 1906 helped dry out land that had stood in water.
Trailer parks began to appear along the Tamiami Trail in the late 1940s, and neighbors formed the Cedar Hammock Civic Association in 1950. Those neighbors still travel to see us from Bradenton and Palmetto.
Call (727) 363-6169 to ask questions or schedule. Open Monday 9 to 3, Tuesday 9 to 5, Wednesday 9 to 4 and Thursday 9 to 5. Fridays are scheduled individually.
