A veneer is a slim covering that changes how a tooth looks in color, shape or spacing. Dr. Pierpont offers porcelain or composite veneers to patients who travel from Gardenville and the Gibsonton area.
Not everyone needs them. We will tell you if whitening or bonding would meet your goal for less.
What the process looks like

There is a planning visit, then a small amount of enamel is shaped for each veneer. Impressions go to the lab, and the veneers are bonded and adjusted at a later visit.
Because that means more than one trip, we plan the calendar with you in advance.

Trying whitening first

If stained teeth are the main complaint, whitening might be enough. Start there and you also pick a shade for the veneers.
We use take-home custom trays, an LED kit or strips.

When bonding is the better fit

A single chip or small gap may not call for a full veneer. Bonding handles it in one visit and keeps more of your tooth.
We lay out both paths and the cost of each.
