Gibsonton has its own character, and it deserves a dentist who treats people as individuals. Dr. Brittany Pierpont runs Pier Dental at 8351 Blind Pass Rd, and she personally handles checkups, fillings, crowns and root canals.
No one here will scold you for putting off a visit. We want to know what hurts, what worries you and what you can afford, in that order.
Cleanings that catch trouble early

A professional cleaning clears tartar your brush cannot reach. It also gives us a look at your gums, which often show problems first.
Many people do well on a six-month rhythm. Some need closer spacing, and we say so.

A full exam with pictures

Dr. Pierpont checks teeth, gums, bite and jaw joints, and screens the soft tissues in your mouth. X-rays show what the eye cannot.
She walks you through the images so the plan is not a mystery.

When a nerve is infected

A root canal removes the infected nerve tissue and ends the pain that comes with it. Dr. Pierpont does the procedure in our office.
Most patients are surprised that it feels much like getting a deep filling.

About Gibsonton
He homesteaded 150 acres at the mouth of the Alafia River.
That river mouth is on the Hillsborough side of the water. Our office in St. Pete Beach is about 24 miles away in a straight line, and the road adds more, so we book with that trip in mind.
