Longboat Key and St. Pete Beach are both barrier-island towns on Florida’s Gulf coast, which gives us something in common. Dr. Brittany Pierpont welcomes Longboat Key residents to her family-owned practice at 8351 Blind Pass Rd.
She handles exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns and root canals herself. If it has been years, you will not hear a lecture.
Why we start with an exam

Dr. Pierpont checks your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, and takes digital X-rays when needed. Then she shows you the results.
You leave with a clear order of priorities.

Fillings that look like teeth

A white filling is bonded into the cleaned-out space and shaped to your bite. It is the same color as the tooth around it.
Older metal fillings can be reviewed at the same visit.

Cleanings for salty-air smiles too

Hygiene visits remove tartar that brushing misses, and help us catch gum problems early. Six months is common, but not set in stone.
We will recommend what suits your mouth.
