Pier Dental offers same-day emergency appointments, but Gary is across Tampa Bay from us. Call first so we can talk through how urgent your problem is.
If you are very ill or swelling affects breathing, go to an emergency room. For most tooth pain, a phone call and a drive south can work.
Infection signs

A swollen face, fever or a pimple on the gum suggests an abscess. It can spread beyond the tooth.
We treat the source, often with a root canal.

A broken molar

Back teeth crack under heavy chewing. Save the pieces and avoid that side until we see you.
A crown or filling usually repairs it.

A tooth knocked out at work or play

Hold it by the crown and rinse gently. Store it in milk, not water, and call on the way.
Speed matters for saving the tooth.

About Gary
Our straight-line distance to Gary is about 25.3 miles, but you would cross Tampa Bay, so road time is much longer. We say this so you can make a sound choice about where to go.
We see patients Monday from 9 to 3, Tuesday from 9 to 5, Wednesday from 9 to 4, Thursday from 9 to 5, and Friday by appointment. Outside those hours, call, because a same-day visit is sometimes possible.
Call (727) 363-6169 now. We will sort out costs, including CareCredit, once you are out of pain.
