Crowns protect teeth that are cracked, worn or recovering from a root canal. Dr. Brittany Pierpont fits them in the office, and one dentist follows your case through.
Two visits is the usual minimum, so we fix both dates when we plan your treatment.
A digital impression

Our TRIOS scanner replaces trays of putty with a quick 3D scan. It is more comfortable and usually more accurate.
The scan guides the crown made for your tooth.

Root canal, then crown

Dr. Pierpont clears infected tissue and then caps the tooth. The two steps are explained in advance.
A crowned tooth stands up to chewing again.

When an onlay is enough

If only part of the tooth is broken, an onlay can protect it with less removal. We recommend the least invasive repair.
It often saves more natural tooth.
