A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain or composite that bonds to the front of a tooth. In Dr. Brittany Pierpont’s hands it can soften stains, hide chips and even out small gaps for patients who travel from Madeira Beach.
We will tell you honestly whether veneers are your best fit. Whitening, bonding or a crown may do the job for less.
What happens at each visit

After a consult and a plan, a little enamel is shaved from each tooth and impressions are taken. The shells are made to match, then bonded and checked against your bite.
You will see the shape and shade before it is final.

Bonding as a lighter option

For one or two small flaws, composite bonding can be done in a single visit. It costs less than veneers and trims away less tooth.
The tradeoff is that it can pick up stains, so it fits some cases better than others.

Whiten first, then match

Veneers do not change color after they are made, so many people brighten their natural teeth first. We use take-home whitening for that.
Starting there means the veneer shade can be picked to match the smile you actually want.

About Madeira Beach
Madeira Beach grew fast after the 1950s and 1960s, when dredging along the Intracoastal causeway expanded its land, and beach condos and hotels followed in the 1970s and 1980s. A town shaped by planning knows the value of a thoughtful design.
Pier Dental is about 4.3 miles from the city center in a straight line. Veneer patients also come in from Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach.
