Coffee, tea and years of wear leave their mark on teeth. Dr. Brittany Pierpont helps Redington Shores patients with cosmetic dentistry at Pier Dental, from brightening to repairing chips to swapping out dated fillings.
Our rule is to improve without overdoing it. You should look like yourself after treatment, just with teeth you feel better about showing.
Brightening with take-home whitening

Choose from custom-fitted trays with professional gel, an LED kit or professional whitening strips. All three go beyond what you find on a drugstore shelf, and we confirm your teeth are a good candidate first.
Gradual whitening at home lets you stop when you like the shade. Stains from coffee, tea and red wine usually lighten well.

Bonding to close gaps and fix chips

Bonding adds resin to a tooth, shapes it, and hardens it with a curing light before a final polish. Small chips, narrow gaps and uneven edges are typical candidates.
A visit often takes under an hour per tooth and rarely calls for removing much enamel. It can be a budget-friendly alternative to veneers for minor flaws.

Veneers when you want a bigger change

Porcelain or composite veneers cover the front of a tooth to alter its color, size or outline. They can even out several teeth at once for a uniform look.
Because some enamel is reshaped, we walk through every step first. Dr. Pierpont will also tell you if a lighter treatment would satisfy you.
