Veneers are slim porcelain or composite shells attached to the front surface of teeth. At Pier Dental, Dr. Brittany Pierpont designs them so size, shade and shape suit your face and the teeth around them.
They are used for discoloration, chips, wear, gaps and mild crookedness. Because they are a lasting change, we make sure you have seen your options before you choose.
What to expect, start to finish

We begin with a consult and exam. A thin layer of enamel is removed, impressions are taken, and the veneers are made to match and then bonded.
Dr. Pierpont checks color and bite at the end of the visit.

Whitening may be enough

If color is the only complaint, home whitening may give you the look you want for less. Options include custom trays, an LED kit and strips.
Some patients whiten first, then match veneers to the new shade.

Bonding for one or two teeth

Composite bonding can fix a single chip or gap in one visit. It removes little or no tooth and costs less than veneers.
We will tell you honestly when bonding is the better value.
